The Superior Court of New Jersey in Essex County dismissed a suit against members of the Puerto Rican Heritage Statewide Committee, Inc., the organization that organizes and sponsors the largest festival celebrating Puerto Rican culture in the State of New Jersey. The suit brought by a disgruntled former member of the organization alleged various ambiguous claims against the organizers. Gomez LLC persuaded the Court to dismiss this suit with prejudice for plaintiff’s failure to prosecute in a timely fashion. See Irving Linares et al. v. Mariver Arcure Garcia et al., Docket No. ESX-L-2788-09 (New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County, Law Division).
