In New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County, Gomez LLC filed suit against the New Jersey Dental School (NJDS) of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) after a dental student was dismissed for disciplinary reasons without adequate notice or any meaningful opportunity to present a case in his defense and in violation of university rules and policies. The suit alleges violations of the student’s civil rights and other common law claims. See Phat Le v.
